PRINT DESIGNER & CONCEPT CREATOR

Emma Edwards is an artist and designer originally from Nottingham, UK and now currently resides in San Francisco, California.

Upon graduation from Northumbria University obtaining a BA Hons in Fashion Design, she took her six look collection to Graduate Fashion Week where she was shortlisted for the Zandra Rhodes Fashion and Textile Award. Whilst there she met recruiters from Gap Inc and got offered the opportunity to do a project with the hopes of landing her first major fashion design role.

Fast forward two months and she was fortunate enough to move to San Francisco and work for Old Navy, Gap Inc.

In addition to her current role as Senior Women’s Textile Designer at Old Navy her experience includes over 10 years working in-house at a variety of interiors and apparel companies like Dorothy Perkins, Eley Kishimoto, John Lewis and Paul Smith.

Her creative strengths are:

-Trend analysis, Storytelling through print, Color Theory, Art Direction and Textile Design processes.

Outside of her career she loves to spend her time in nature, either camping, kayaking or horse riding.
